It was a long winter but Spring is finally here, been busy lately with various commissions and using the time in between shoots to get out and enjoy the weather with regular cycling (hence the lack of posts lately). The shot above was taken with my phone on one of my regular routes in my borough, so nice to see all the blossom everywhere. I bought my bike last summer and have really grown to love cycling again, as a freelancer I think it's important to have a pastime where you can 'switch off' occasionally, plus photography is quite demanding physically so it's good to do some sort of regular exercise. If you're thinking of taking up cycling I can recommend the free cycle route maps from Transport for London that show you the quieter routes across the city
