March iPhone roundup

A round up of last months mobile images featuring shadows in Mayfair, a fox on Columbia Road, my Mum at home in Normandy, the Bois de Vincennes and my favourite drink in all the world.
I've recently had a look into using different apps to edit the pictures rather than just applying a filter inside the Instagram app. The first two shots here are taken with the Hipstamatic app which gives you the option of using various 'lenses' and 'film stocks' to give different looks to the images.
The results are very close to emulating the look of images shot with a Lomo film camera (the Lomo was and is an actual camera long before it was an iPhone image filter...) but I still prefer to shoot an image with the iPhones native camera to give a clean flat file which can be later edited with other image adjustment apps.
Two which I've come to use the most are the highly recommended Snapseed as well as the quite frankly mind boggling Filterstorm. This one has the ability to record batch actions...!
The work of photojournalists shot with iPhones such as Ben Lowys images from Libya have already begun to appear widely published across the media so maybe it's just a matter of time before your top end Canon and Nikon DSLR's will have the ability to both edit and then upload images via 3G?
Sooner rather than later I would imagine...
